After months of waiting, the first SNQ Open Jam Night since Melinda J Wells moved back to Dalby was a wonderful night of live original music, jamming, teaching, collaborating and fun! Now located at ‘The Convent’ 169 Cunningham St Dalby, SNQ Headquarters is the new home of original music for Dalby and district, an open, informal, all inclusive group for anyone interested in meeting and sharing with like-minded people who LOVE MUSIC!!

Loose Acoustic: Winterbreak Song Retreat Mount Tambourine, Qld. Whether you are a beginner or veteran come join us to develop, collaborate, network, relax and explore. From June 9-13 in the tranquil and inspiring setting of Mount Tambourine in the Gold Coast hinterland, Winterbreak 2 features a series of songwriting and music classes, workshops and performances run by internationally and nationally acclaimed artists and educators. Instructors include Greg Sheehan, pioneer of contemporary rhythm and expert on all things percussion and celebrated for his “astounding musicianship”; Austin, Texas-based Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Richards; renowned guitarist, composer and producer Steve Berry; and whimsical folk-pop songstress Susanna Carman, whose new album Circus Girl is garnering critical acclaim across Australia. All four have long-established careers in performance and teaching in Australia and overseas. Winterbreak 2 is open to songwriters, musicians and any other interested people of all skill levels.
