SNQ Presents-  Our live gigs for members to play their original music

We offer paid and unpaid  gig opportunities for all our members to play and share their original music, offering a wonderful atmosphere and the chance to meet and play with other songwriters, it’s a great thing to do.  For the full details or more infomation please see our LIVE GIGS PAGE

SNQ Workshop Events and Industry Nights

With two successful Industry Nights this year, we will continue to offer these and our workshop events to help our artists  meet professional artists willing to share their experiences and music, and to offer information sessions to help with the creation of CD’s, stagecraft, song-writing, collaboration, marketing and promotions, internet, licensing, copyright, publishing and lots of other topics important to our members.  This is for the support of members who wish to pursue a career as a musician, for anyone who is looking for information that will actually help them and will be offered free of charge or for a very small fee.  Again, we are a community of song-writers and within our ranks are artists from all levels of career and expertise so most of the workshops are from SNQ members, mentors and peak bodies who support us or industry professionals somehow related to us.

SNQ Collaboration Sessions – a place to work with other artists

Starting in January, we are providing a place for songwriters who are unable to complete their songs due to having a singular skill, ie: a lyricist looking for a musician, a singer looking for a songwriters, a songwriter looking for an artist to perform and any other combination.  It can be frustrating knowing you have songs that want to be born but are stuck because of this issue.  Also, these sessions are open to anyone with the skills to contribute to a collaborative song effort through harmonies, other instruments, lyrical support or anything that may add to the quality of songs written by one of our members.  More information to come…

SNQ Presents Compilation CD and Documentary – our next big venture

A very exciting project will be the project of getting our artists on a series of compilation of recorded music in the hope of moving our artists careers in the right direction.  With the help of a whole group of people, we are planning to document the process of creating our first CD, from the inception to the final product.  more to come…

SNQ Partnerships

Although only a young group, SNQ has already found support from a number of peak music bodies, people from within the many facets of the music industry and many other businesses and individuals who offer services you may need in your career.  Again it is our aim to support our artists as much as possible, and we may be able to connect you with a trust worthy contact for many areas of promotion, marketing, recording and performing.
